Steve is the owner of the consulting firm Visionex Solutions, LLC that provides services in Intellectual Property management, technology identification, innovation, and market assessment to technology companies working in the electrical, mechanical, energy/power, construction or transportation industries.
Steve is an electrical engineer by degree but has worked in various engineering roles in both the semiconductor manufacturing and machining operations. Earlier, he served aboard a U.S. Navy submarine as both an electronics technician and a nuclear reactor operator, and was a trainer at the Naval Reactors Facility at the Idaho National Laboratory.
Steve is a member of several professional societies and is currently the Treasurer for the Austin chapter of the IEEE’s Power and Energy Society. Steve is happily married to a career coach and they have two outgoing children and two very friendly dogs.
