It’s a new year and we are going to try a new meeting format.  Come for a fast paced evening of pecha-kucha style or “little bigs” presentations next Tuesday.  What’s that? Each of our presenters will have 10 minutes and 10 slides or fewer to explain core futures concepts and methods.

Simple,  Complicated or Complex?  Paul Schumann will discuss the apparent trend towards more complex systems and why this trend may be true.  To develop foresight, one has to acknowledge and understand three different types of systems - simple, complicated and complex. You don’t want to miss.

Imaginal Visioning for Prophetic Foresight Oliver Markley will introduce you to a new methodology for anticipating the future.  Learn about self-fulfilling vs. self-denying prophecies.   Prophecy more than prediction and a quick exercise in time travel.

Online Scanning Using Social Media Patricia Tynan will give you a quick tour of social media for STEEP scanning.  This is part introduction, part hands on training.  Bring your smart phone and get ready to tweet.

The Future of Central Texas World Future Society Harold Collins will provide an update on the club and what’s next.
